SATURDAY TEAM 2010 (ITEMS TO CONSIDER) ……..In an effort to make the Mission Trails Saturday Team, a viable Team Contender in 2010, some adjustments
must be made to be considered a TEAM and NOT individual players.
Read the following items carefully……………..
1.
Team will consist of 24 players. (Max)
2. Each Team Member must
Commit, to be available, for all 6 Team Play Saturdays.
3. Each player will have a stroke
differential, from their Low Index, of no more than 3.5 strokes, as of January 2010.
4. Get the Team Point
first and the individual points will follow.
5. Every Team Member will be expected to attend all
Team Meetings.
6.
Everyone who signs up and qualifies to play, must have at least 6 posted rounds, OTHER
than Mission Trails, prior to December 31st, 2009.
7. We will have a minimum
of (3) practice rounds. Courses TBD.
8. Play from a set of tees that will
play longer than the Trails.
9.
In ALL rounds of golf, POST ALL SCORES, this will establish your true handicap.
10. We want to establish,
if possible, the following: 6-players each, between Handicaps of: (0-4.5)…(4.6-9.1)…(9.2-13.7)…(13.8-18.4)
= 24 Players.
11.
If more than 24 players qualify to play, we will have events to determine the final Team of 24
(Max).
12. In ALL practice rounds, PUTT everything OUT!!!!
13. Once we begin play, ALL Team members will be
expected to stay around the 18th green, until ALL OF OUR PLAYERS have finished their round.
14. We will establish
Team coordinated clothing for Team Play.
(In the past, we have run into many problems in fielding
a competitive Team, because of outside commitments. ….Not being able to practice at away courses,
Time Commitments, Financial, Family and Jobs……These are all legitimate and valid reasons for not being able
to play. Therefore, we all have to evaluate our individual situations and ask ourselves, can I do want
is asked and give 100% to this Team before I sign up??)
